North Tallcree Arena

By News

We are so proud to continue our collaboration with Tallcree First Nation with the concept design for the North Tallcree Arena, together with applying to the GICB program for the funding of the project. With this application to the Green & Inclusive Community Buildings (GIBC) program of Housing-Infrastructure Canada, Tallcree continues to deliver sustainable and accessible buildings for the community. CMA and team have designed this full size arena to meet the ZCB-Design Standard V4 for a Net Zero Carbon Building through the use of biomass and solar heating, together with PV power generation, amongst other features. The primary accessibility feature is a suspended walking/running track placed so that community members will be able to exercise throughout the year at any level of exertion.

Stay tuned for further project updates.
